Migrating from Exchange 2003 and Windows server 2003  to Exchange 2013 with Windows server 2012

Hello,

I have to migrate a windows server 2003 (AD) and the Exchange server 2003 to Windows server 2012 with exchange 2013.

I want to know, first of all, which migration should be first: the AD or Exchange?

anyone can help me with a "list" of steps I must do? (only the steps, at least, I will handle then with the rest of operations.)

Thank you,

Hi,

Be aware that a transition from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2013 is unsupported.  The supported path is to transition to Exchange 2007 or 2010 first.
For your reference: http://blogs.technet.com/b/mconeill/archive/2013/04/03/migration-from-exchange-2003-to-2013-a-no-go.aspx
If you want to deploy cross-forest migration, you can refer to Muthus suggestion.

Basis on Exchange 2013 system requirements, Exchange Server 2013 is supported in a Windows 2003 SP2 domain. Therefore, theres no need to consider the order for upgrading AD first or migrating Exchange.

Thanks
